Xavier
If you drop into one of Xavier’s classes, expect to find your focus, test your limits, and definitely share a laugh. But something clicked, he got hooked, and he eventually transitioned from dedicated student to certified teacher. To Xavier, a 90-minute class is a moving meditation designed to keep you honest, anchored, and humble.Off the mat, you might catch him riding his motorbike, playing music, or hanging out with dogs. He also moonlights as a sommelier, firmly believing that true lifestyle balance means hydration by day and fermentation by night. Get ready to sweat, connect, and discover your own balance when you practice with him.

FAQ
What are the benefits of yoga and Pilates?
Both yoga and Pilates emphasise balance, stability, core strength and mindfulness. They integrate static and dynamic postures and promote parasympathetic nervous system activation, aiding in stress reduction and improved joint mobility. When performed in a heated environment, vasodilation is induced, enhancing circulation and oxygen delivery to tissues.Practising both yoga and Pilates increases muscular endurance and functional stability. They elevate cardiorespiratory workload through continuous movement patterns, engaging both slow-twitch and fast-twitch muscle fibres. When performed in a thermal environment as a hot class, the heat accelerates metabolic rate and supports myofascial release. In terms of flexibility - you do not need it to perform the stances! Do not be intimidated if you cannot stretch much. Come, try, train, and practice with us.
What is hot yoga and Pilates?
Hot yoga and Pilates classes are practiced in heated rooms, typically set between 32-40℃ with high humidity. This environment helps to warm the muscles, making them more pliable and allowing for deeper stretches.Hot Yoga is a flow-based practice utilising isometric holds and controlled transitions, prioritising alignment, proprioception, and breath synchronisation. Hot Pilates employs dynamic, repetitive sequences targeting the deep stabilising muscles with an emphasis on spinal articulation and postural control.
Who is suitable for hot yoga and Pilates classes?
While both hot yoga and hot Pilates can be highly beneficial, if you have the following conditions, we suggest you approach classes with caution:1. Cardiovascular & Circulatory disease
2. Heat Sensitivity & Thermoregulation Issues.
3. Pregnancy
4. Dehydration & Electrolyte Imbalance
5. Musculoskeletal instability, acute injuries
6. Other Medical Conditions aggravated by excessive sweating.
